As the mobile gaming landscape continues to evolve, arcade racing games remain a popular genre among players. In the United Kingdom, the first quarter of 2021 has seen interesting trends for the top arcade racing applications on the unified platform, according to data provided by Sensor Tower.

ABC Runner by JoyPac experienced a significant surge in downloads at the beginning of the quarter, peaking at over 221K in the first week of February before seeing a gradual decline to around 43K by the end of March. The game's weekly active users followed a similar trend, with a high of over 256K in the second week of February, which then tapered off to approximately 82K by the end of March. The game began generating revenue in March, starting at $115 and fluctuating to $108 by the month's end.

Voodoo's Shortcut Run showed a consistent revenue stream throughout the quarter, although it saw a slight decrease from $228 to $71 by the end of March. Downloads for Shortcut Run began at around 115K in late December and gradually decreased to approximately 26K by the end of March. Weekly active users started at over 316K and decreased to nearly 118K in the same timeframe.

The US-based Freeplay LLC's game, Happy Printer, launched in mid-February and quickly amassed over 173K downloads in its first full week. The game's downloads saw a decline towards the end of the quarter, with around 29K downloads in the last week of March. Weekly active users peaked at over 208K in the first week of March before falling to nearly 59K by the quarter's end. Revenue for Happy Printer was not realized until March, starting at $46 and reaching $63 by the end of the month.

Zynga Inc.'s Gear Race 3D saw a decline in both downloads and weekly active users throughout the quarter. Downloads dropped from around 94K in late December to just over 9K by the end of March. The game's weekly active users showed a similar downward trend, starting at over 139K and ending at roughly 21K. Gear Race 3D did not generate any notable revenue until the very last week of the quarter.

Riding Extreme 3D by DUCKY LTD had a relatively modest quarter. After an initial spike in downloads in late January at around 93K, the figures fell to just under 5K by the end of March. Weekly active users peaked at over 165K in early February before decreasing to nearly 20K by the end of March. Revenue for Riding Extreme 3D was not present until March, starting at $38 and reaching $49 by the quarter's close.
